Pamper Sessions 101

Wow, it's been a hot minute since I last let you in on what I use in my pamper sessions - those are days when you have at least a good 20 minutes to spoil yourself and concentrate on not only boosting the appearance of your skin but how it feels.

My two favourite cream masks at the moment are Origins' Glow-co-nuts (in collab with health influencer/ Youtuber Madeleine Shaw) and their Clear Improvement charcoal mask for my T-zone. What I love about what are essentially treatments, is that the affects are instantaneous. As in, give it a second, and your skin is already looking better... and I am one of the most impatient people in the world. The former, can be left on for 10 mins, the excess tissued off  and the rest massaged in, or it can be used like a night cream. The results: skin that looks healthy, and literally glows. The organic coconut and citrus oils are intoxicating too.

As for the charcoal mask it is brilliant at mattifying, but be sure to rinse off thoroughly to avoid a little itchiness.

I spend more time on cleansing my face too, using an exfoliating brush. This also ensures that the masks are their  most effective, as they will absorb better. See what I think of the Original Skin gel cleanser here.

And let's not forget the rest of the body. I feel I have to reiterate in my posts, that they are not sponsored by Origins. I find they have a great range, and at this moment in time, I am stuck on their ginger body products: the wash, cream, but especially the ginger body scrub. Ginger has so many benefits. My new philosophy when it comes to skincare is, if it smells edible it usually works well on my skin!
